The installation was less than 15mins. I kept onlyone USB drive (the source) andone SSD drive (the destination). The setting drive protocols from IDE (there is no ATA setting so not sure what above poster is talking about) or ACHI or RAID makes no difference with this problem. The original burned ISO's using the win7 iso burning tool with Memorex DVD+R.  Even when I started with that media I had to burn 4-5 copies before I got 2 discs This is a workaround to speed up the Windows installation.
