I am storing no data in my w7 'librarys' becsuse my data is on a separate drive and that data is linked to the libraries if that makes sense. I spent hours trying to figure out what went wrong when I finally decided to restore the system to the day prior to the AVG download and presto, now I'm up have a peek here
but from the 2nd , i can see the 1st pc in the homegroup window. Has anybody else encountered and resolved this? I installed that version on Dec 17th, now up to current date. Needed to be able to print so took my desktop back off Homegroup and set up printer to just print directly for now. When I close all windows and go back into homegroup settings it asks for a password again.

I did everyting the article mentioned and made some corrections (some services were turned off), but still can't figure otu the error. Its there any suggestions for someone that had restored their computers when they were the one's to set up the homegroup in the first place? It appears every body who I know who has upgrade to Windows 10 from 7 or 8 is having this same problem. However, the latter does have the #1 in the Value data field of Edit DWORD Value.

I created a homegroup on my laptop but could not connect to homegroup from my media PC. Such behavior exposes you to many risks and it makes it easy for others to steal your financial data like your credit card details and use it to harm you. While it shows as 'running' and in automatic start, if I re-start it, my 'missing' computer suddenly reappears on the Network map. There Is Currently No Homegroup On The Network All IPv4 addresses are from the same range ( PC usually is connected with cable and laptop - wireless.
Windows media player hangs. The first 3 parts of the IP Address should be the same, i.e. 192.168.0.x or 10.0.1.x.
