My hard drive works on other computers and has worked on my laptop in the past but has done this a few times. Just went tits up on me last week. Maybe I'm missing someting but if you have a bootable drive and your BIOS is recognizing the faulty drive, why not install the bootable as Master and the unbootable one as My LG G4 was suddenly not being recognised by my pc, I had to reinstall the driver, windows did it automatically when I followed your instructions.
