and lowering from there, maybe a core is holding you back. Maybe the board was returned by somebody who mucked with some settings, so a BIOS reset should return things to stock/default.And if all the above don't work…. so far i did some prime 95 and passed 1 test after 20 mins. My goal is to get my AMD 1055T (2.8ghz STOCK) to run at 3.3ghz, sounds simple enough right as the turbocore can already do this. have a peek here
While peripherals are usually the last thing to purchase, they can be very important to your game. Attached Images Last edited by michealv; 03-23-12 at 11:05 PM. Voltage CPU ! Edit - Apparently my ram is worth $14USD - that is absolutely pathetic i'm sure I got charged like $150+ for it. this content
Your idea to solder on a taller heatsink is something that would probably help immensely. There's an intake fan, side fan, rear exhaust and top exhaust fan. The 870 chipset might not take too kindly to being overclocked. No auto is awful, for example with my chip if I stick it on auto and put it at 3.64ghz it will run the full 1.475v through it (You must

My overclocking method isn't very advanced, I basically just set the FSB to 250 and left everything else at auto. I think overclock is better in BIOS. But yes CPU intensive games will benefit from nb over clock. Here's why it was chosen anyway…It's cheap (under $100).It supports DDR2 RAM.The fact of the matter is, I had perfectly good DDR2 RAM that wasn't being used, and one of the As son as I lower the ram and HTlink/nbridge to about 1959, the RAm to about 1306, its stable.
Wasn't sure if I was best to use HIS' OC tool or something more standard, like Afterburner. Overclock instability due to memory timings? is it safe to put it on auto? Or at least that's the theory behind bottlenecking.
With mine I am able to hit 3.5Ghz on 1.35V, but not much more than that. navigate here satanicguardian View Public Profile Visit satanicguardian's homepage! Overclocking it can also cause instability. We need the "SPD" tab in CPU-z so we can compare the manufacturer's recommended timings and voltages at various standard memory frequencies with your own settings in "Memory" tab. I popped the new one in and it idles at 29 and loads out at 50.
